One of the downsides to living in a city we don't particularly like is that March Hare and I periodically develop a desperate need to be somewhere else. So, we're heading off to Cool Big City for a few days to indulge in some good food and entertainment.
A highlight of this trip will be a get-together with a few of my favorite bloggers. Although this will be the first time I'm meeting them, I've been reading some of their blogs for a while and feel like I already sort of know them. I won't divulge their names here because I don't know if they'd be comfortable with it. Anyway, this will be my first blogger meet-up and I'm really looking forward to it.
If any of you are reading and want to identify yourselves, I'll link to your blogs!
I'll be back next week. Y'all have a great weekend!

Ooh, have fun! Are you meeting them all individually, or in a big group?
How fun! Have a great trip!
I'm jealous. Meeting other bloggers in RL sounds like fun! I hope you have a great trip!
I'm identifying myself!!
We're meeting as a group. I think it will be fun. :)
And I'll also identify myself. It is shaping up to be a fun day.
Hey- I'm leaving town too- for ASM in Boston- if this is where you are at ... I'd love to join!
Sounds like fun... So far I have only met one fellow blogger (although the person did not disclose to me the existence of an evil blogging alter ego until a long time thereafter... sneaky, eh ? :-)
Hope you're having a great time! I'd love to hear about the blogger round-up when it's over!
have a great weekend!
ps. i'm identifying myself too :P
Oh wow, sounds like quite a few of you are meeting! I have to admit I am a little jealous - its cool you live close enough to each other for this! Have fun and please blog about it!
Thanks for all your comments! I had a great time with EcoGeoFemme, Jennie, and Academic, and will definitely be writing a post about the meet-up soon!
DrDrA--Sorry for the late reply. No, we were not in Boston, but I would've loved to have met you!
Okham--Very sneaky! But did you disclose your blogging identity? Perhaps there was sneakiness all around. :-)
Locks--Thanks for visiting!
Mad Hatter: my identity is no secret -- I am not into anonymous blogging. I'm out there, fearless, defenseless and shameless (but handsome).
Indeed, the sneaky person said to me "Oh, I read your blog" as soon as we were introduced (I recall being almost immediately overcome by a strange mix of pride and shame).

Yep, definitely shameless! :-)
